HOWDY FROM THE PRESIDENT!

So many of you have asked “Why the Buffalo?” for our premium car care appearance products…. Well, here’s the reason, proudly and deeply rooted in the American heritage…..

…Back in the days of the untamed West it was not surprising to see man and beast coping with the elements in interesting ways. American Indians balanced bareback with skill and precision on their galloping ponies. Cowboys rode tall astride intricately patterned saddles, confident under ten-gallon hats. The most memorable vision, however, is that of the quick and powerful buffalo thundering across a winter prairie, clouds of frozen breath handing above the herd. These four-legged wooly giants commanded the respect of both Indian and cowboy as they pounded down from the hills in search of food. Imagine hundreds of tons of well toned animal muscle racing across the plains, stirring up dust, crushing sagebrush and anything else in the way. Relying on their natural instinct and a tough hide to protect them, they faced almost any situation without fear.

So it should come as no surprise when a couple of hundred years later to discover a company drawing upon the same rugged qualities and strength of the buffalo of yesteryear---strong hides, endurance, and power. Yes, indeed, as the developer of Buffalo Milke®, I chose the American icon to keep celebrating our heritage.
