3. How long does Buffalo Milke® last?

Despite its application being so fast that it takes only 15-20 minutes to wax an averaged sized car, Buffalo Milke® will protect your car for 3-4 months, depending upon how many times you wash it and whether you garage it….the same factors that impact the longevity of the hard-to-apply paste and bottled waxes. 4. What’s in Buffalo Milke®? Real buffalo milk?

Buffalo Milke® is NOT for human consumption so it is not milk. So don’t worry, no employees were injured in milking buffaloes! However Buffalo Milke® is a specially formulated wax that won't yellow out has and NO build-up. Buffalo Milke® is not silicon-based and has “NO plastic stuff” in it—NO teflons and NO sealants. 5. You said that Buffalo Milke® is a cleaner. Do I still wash my car first before I apply Buffalo Milke®?

If your car is lightly dusted, just spray Buffalo Milke® onto the dusted surface, wipe gently in one linear direction, letting Buffalo Milke® pick up the dirt without scratching. Then with the clean side of the cotton cloth, buff to a shine on the clean surface. Car competitors at car shows use Buffalo Milke® as a daily detailer to clean off the settled dust from overnight, yet there is no build-up from the numerous uses. Each time Buffalo Milke® cleans right down to the paint, and puts on a thin, but strong, wax protection.
If your car is really dirty, wash your car first and wipe off the excess water before applying Buffalo Milke®.

6. Other waxes have been known to stain parts of cars, such as the black rubber trim around windows, roof racks, and the high-impact plastic trim parts on new cars. Are there any forbidden areas in using Buffalo Milke®?

7. How do I go about using Buffalo Milke®? What are the best steps?

Start with two very soft absorbent cotton cloths, like two diapers (but avoid the diapers with polyester/nylon thread used in the seams because they scratch) or 100% cotton terry. [The ones we recommend can be purchased here]. Tip the bottle a couple of times to make sure it is blended. Spray Buffalo Milke® 1 or 2 times on a 2 x 4 foot section of your car (the size of the area depends upon your easy arm-reach) . Keep in mind that a little bit of Buffalo Milke® goes a long ways---just 2 ounces does an ENTIRE CAR! So no need to saturate the surface with Buffalo Milke®. Take Cloth #1 and stroke the Buffalo Milke in with side to side strokes—straight, linear strokes. Do NOT do those old-fashioned circular-motion rubbings. As soon as you have worked Buffalo Milke® into the entire area, then use the dry Cloth #2 in stroke motions to quickly buff off the area. Then move on to the next section of your car and repeat the steps. Note that Cloth #1 becomes wet with Buffalo Milke® —that’s great because Cloth #1 is the applicator. Cloth #2 should always remain dry.

8. What if I have a fresh old-fashioned carnauba-based wax on my car already, before I use Buffalo Milke®? What should I keep in mind?

Buffalo Milke® has aggressive cleaning agents so it will clean off the carnauba before putting on its advanced wax protection. On a darker colored paint, you will see the cleaning features so work a smaller surface area at a time. Your later second application of Buffalo Milke® will yield spectacular results. To short cut this process of removing fresh carnauba, just wash your car first such as with a solution of dishwashing detergent and water, or a stronger mix of car washing soap solution.

If you did not completely remove the carnauba on your first application and you see on the dark colored paint some unevenness, then just wipe the surface with a cloth that is damp with cold water. That simple step evens everything out, until you get a chance later to complete the cleaning off of the carnauba.
After getting that carnauba off, you will discover that waxing with Buffalo Milke® is SUPER EASY. Never again will you struggle with your wax! Car maintenance has become a piece of cake!

9. Can I wax my car in "direct sunlight?"

Buffalo Milke® has been designed to do the labor for you while it is "wet." If your car metal is so hot that our wax quickly evaporates and steams off, then Buffalo Milke® will not be able to work for you and give you the premium results that you desire. If it is cooler than that, then work a small area at a time on a car. With respect to light colored vehicles and motorcycles, direct sunlight is not an issue.

10. How often should I “put a hide on my ride” with Buffalo Milke®?

If you are a first time user of Buffalo Milke®, do a second application of Buffalo Milke® in about 3-4 weeks. Thereafter, exclusively use our wax, just every 3-4 months or whatever is your whim.

11. Can I put Buffalo Milke® on my other rides, not just cars?

You betcha! “Put a Hide on All of Your Rides!®” On motorcycles, Buffalo Milke® is an answer to a biker’s prayers! Just spray on every part of the bike---paint, chrome, fiberglass, black wrinkle paint, powder-coats, etc. Wipe off wherever you can--- but don’t fret about the deep nooks and crannies--- no need for Q-tips and toothbrushes for hard to reach areas. Whatever you can not reach will dry to a clear and no one will know the difference! And there is never any build up because Buffalo Milke® cleans first on each application. What used to be a 6 hour waxing project, has just become with Buffalo Milke® a 20-30 minute task! And keep a small bottle in your saddle bags for a quick clean up or rain spot removal while you are on a ride!
